ASS.TEC and Motorola enterprise Mobility business close partnership "Authorized reseller". The aim of the partnership is to be able to offer mobile devices including mobile phone and data transfer contracts in addition to the mobile service solution ASS_Mobile Service. You as an ASS_Mobile customer have the great advantage that you can obtain everything from one source and you get support by one contact person. In addition, you profit from special services which are offered by Motorola for professional users. Examples of such services are a lasting availability of the mobile terminals of 3-4 years, the exchange and repair of a faulty equipment of inside shortest time as well as a telephonic support. By direct access to the Motorola development team also special, hardware near wishes/functions can be realized.
By closing this partnership with Motorola ASS.TEC expands its product and service portfolio and is able to serve its ASS_Mobile Service customers even more comprehensively.
The new release of the mobile service solution ASS_Mobile Service of ASS.TEC GmbH supports the visualization of field service employees and customers on electronic maps provided by PTV AG located in Karlsruhe. Due to its very flexible architecture, however, ASS_Mobile Service can be adapted to your personal preferences so that other map suppliers like e.g. Microsoft Virtual Earth or Google Maps can be integrated into the solution easily.
ASS_Mobile Service visualizes the location of the customer to be served as well as the current whereabouts of your field service employees who either can be located based on current status messages to actual service orders or based on realtime GPS locating graphically on interactive maps and calculates automatically both distance and time expenditure of every field service employee needed for the journey to the customer. Thereby, current traffic information (e.g. jams, construction sites etc.) is taken into account besides the general information about the real conditions (routing, speed-limits etc.) so that you receive current and reliable information any time. The field service employee to be assigned to the service order can then – with further consideration of further factors like qualification, availability, utilization etc. - be dispatched easily.

Die ASS.TEC GmbH nahm mit ihrer mobilen Servicelösung ASS_Mobile Service am „INNOVATIONSPREIS 2008“ in der Kategorie „Mobile“ teil. Dieser Preis wurde von der „Initiative Mittelstand“ des Huber Verlags für Neue Medien GmbH für besonders innovative mittelstandsgerechte IT-Lösungen ausgeschrieben. Insgesamt gingen mehr als 1.600 Bewerbungen ein, unter welchen eine hochkarätig besetzte Jury ASS_Mobile Service zu einem der 16 besten Produkte in seiner Kategorie wählte. ASS_Mobile Service überzeugte die Jury besonders in den Bewertungskriterien Nutzwert, Innovationsgehalt und Mittelstandseignung.
Die Jury bestätigte ASS_Mobile Service einen deutlich erkennbaren Nutzen, positive Auswirkungen auf die Profitabilität sowie ein hohes Potenzial für Effizienzsteigerungen bei seinen Kunden. Zusätzlich wurden Neuheit, Produktreife und Zukunftsorientierung des Produkts betont. Explizit hob die Jury auch die Eignung von ASS_Mobile Service für den Mittelstand hervor, indem sie der Servicelösung eine hohe Relevanz für KMU, Praktikabilität und eine unkomplizierte Implementierung bestätigte.
